(Make your hand) Play the cards [17 Oct 2004|08:14pm] Most look down on bounty hunters, think we're the lowest scum there is. But truth is, everyone has to make a living somewhere. You have your Hunters, your Irregulars, your workers and other 'generic' Reploids. So why not bounty hunters? Who says the work we do had to be bad? What if you wanted an assassin taken out? Wouldn't that be a good thing? But, of course, I do have my priorities, money being first. But also loyalty comes a close second. Money is always a good thing to have, but when it comes in the way of the heart, then it's worthless. Honor, even for a bounty hunter, can take precidence over all. And in some things, money just can't cut it. So what does that make me then? Am I the good guy or the bad guy? I guess there's only one way to find out, right? If you feel lucky, maybe you should draw your hand and place your bet. See if the cards are in your favor or not . . . But, then again, who said what you see is always what you get?
